THE PACT

               Chapter 2 - " Graveyard "
I was getting the hang of it. After a couple weeks at Madison High, it was either sink or swim. I refused to sink, but I wasn't quite swimming either, so I guess I was pathetically treading water. But at least I had friends.
My preconceived notions of this socially awkward bunch began to change. They were still nerds. But at least they kept me company. Plus, they were like masters of avoidance. We dodged bullies at every cost. Much was contributed to the intuition of Sabrina. I swear she was like a fortune teller.
"Jonathan, come here!" spoke an authoritative voice from the shadows.
I recognized the voice, so I preceded with caution.
"Sabrina—Is that you?" My voice was scratchy.
"Hurry, Jonathan!"
Shrouded by the shadowy cover, I paused as a pressure upon my wrist pulled me in.
"Be quiet!" shot out a whisper.
Minutes elapsed as we both stood in silence. I questioned her not, but I was getting uncomfortable. Although Sabrina was sweet and all, I was not attracted to her, and I didn't want her to get the wrong idea. I'm such an idiot.
Just as that thought came over me, I heard a loud explosion as boisterous voices thundered into the gymnasium.
"Why are you whimpering? Are you a little girl?" shouted an obnoxious voice.
"You're hurting me." squeaked out a voice.
"Oh—Boo—Hoo! I'm hurting you," mocked a voice.
As still as I could, I maneuvered my way into a position to see the ruckus. Low and behold, I caught a glance of several rather large figures and two tiny ones.
I could make out the larger figures; they were football players. I was glad that my brother wasn't among them, but I'm sure he would take part if he weren't out sucking face with the blonde cheerleader.
I was unable to recognize the smaller figures though. They were just random casualties caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"How do we teach them a lesson? Well, if they want to act like little girls, then so be it—Strip em down, boys!" demanded the leader in charge.
"No! Don't make me do it," cried out one of the scrawny figures.
"I guess we'll have to do it for you then. Grab him!"
As muscular grips subdued the two boys, their pants were stripped from them along with their undies.
"Look at these boys, they're stark naked—Hand them some draws!"
One of the large shadowy figures tossed two pairs of thong panties. Rather than being totally nude, the boys covered themselves up desperately.
"If you boys want your pants back, man up! They'll be hanging on the flag post," said the main shadowy figure. He paused and chuckled at his comrades.
With the flag post located in the front of the school, these poor souls were going to get humiliated. Once that bell rang, there was no way they were going to get their pants back with their dignity attached; they would be the laughing stock of the entire school. But what could I do as fingers pressed into my flesh, thwarting my feeble attempt to confront those jerks.
"Hey, hero, do you want to wander around campus in panties too?" said Sabrina.
She was correct. What was I going to do about it?
Needless to say, I was grateful for Sabrina's help, but I was still annoyed by the harsh treatment I just had witnessed earlier.
"What's up, Jon," said Bob. "Sabrina told me about your guys little adventure earlier."
"I thought the bullies at my old school were cruel—You have some real punks here."
"There's something about this place, Jon. Eventually, you'll figure it out–hopefully."
"What do you mean?" I wanted to get to the root of the problem.
After all, I transferred from California. I knew all about street gangs, so there was nothing this little country town on the outskirts of Milwaukee could teach me. As I was wrong assuming what Sabrina's intentions were at the gymnasium, I was dead wrong again.
"I don't know if you're ready to see it yet," said Bob.
"You don't know me—I been through a lot. Do you even know why I moved down in the first place?" I was going to school this country boy. "My father was murdered by the Mafia, so don't tell me that I'm not ready."
"Really, the Mafia?" scoffed Bob. "I guess you have seen it all. I'm sorry about your father, but there is a bad omen in this town—You were better off in California, dude!"
"I can handle this town—Trust me!"
"Meet me tonight at the graveyard."
"What time?"
"Eight O clock sharp!"
"Wait—it's a school night. I can't get out of the house."
"Oh well—but if you want to know the truth, you'll be at the graveyard tonight."
Later that day, after school, this ominous feel must have been contagious because my brother was acting weird since he got home.
"Okay, honey—the hospital called me in. I took the lasagna out of the freezer!" said my mother as she bee-lined toward her car.
I was used to this because she was always on call, both of my parents very dedicated to their profession. She was a nurse. That's how she met my father; he was a doctor.
"You're on your own tonight, kiddo!" said my brother.
"Where are you going?" I wasn't staying home alone. "It's a school night, Jake!"
I had to catch myself, but it was too late. I said it. And then I wondered why I got picked on all the time. I sounded just like the curfew police.
"That's why you're still a virgin," scoffed my brother as he bolted out the door.
Well, at least there was no one home to tell me that I couldn't meet up with my friend's at the graveyard tonight. I would much rather my brother come with me, but it was time for me to man up. I detested that remark my brother made, and I wasn't going to be a virgin for the rest of my life. I was going to be courageous.
I knew where my brother was going. He was going to be with that bimbo all night. But I wasn't quite sure what I would be doing though.
The graveyard? I thought. What was so special about the graveyard—And why eight O'clock?

The Pact

                                 Chapter 1
                               " NEW KID "
Hi there! My name is Jonathan, or at least it used to be. To make a long story short nothing will ever be the same—not after those bloodthirsty savages had slain my brother. Now they're after me—good luck!
"Morning Willie!" shouted a voice, erupting into my room.
"Jake, stop it!" I snapped.
"What are you going to do about it, you little punk?" said Jake now resting his full girth over my scrawny frame. "Are you going to cry for mom? Do it, you little crybaby!"
"Stop it! Arghh!" I tried my best to push him off, but he wasn't going anywhere.
My brother was a star athlete at our last school. He was the starting middle linebacker and defensive team captain. Yeah, that's right, my brother was a stud. As for me, I was just a freshmen, picked on by my brother's meat-headed friends. There was one perk for being the kid brother of Jake, and that was protection by my tormentors. In other words, only the football players could pick on me. In most cases, I think I got it worse than other freshmen my age, but that was life.
When tragedy struck, and we were forced to move away, I thought for sure, I could start all over and make a new name for myself. Nope. I guess the code for being a stud transfers over to any high-school because my brother picked up exactly where he left off. As for me, I got it worse because now I was picked on by any random student at this school. You would think my brother would come to my aid, but he was too busy being mister popular to watch out for his little brother. I was on my own.
"Alright, scrub. I'm leaving in like ten minutes. Unless you want to ride in with me, you'd better get your scrawny butt out of bed. Otherwise, walk your ass to school," said Jake.
"Just get out of my room!" I snapped throwing my pillow at him.
My brother was just a few years older than I, but he was always so much bigger and stronger. It wasn't fair. He inherited the best attributes from both of my parents. He got dad's genetics and mom's good looks. I suppose I had my mother's intellect, but what did that matter when I had to deal with a total meathead and his daily shenanigans?
As usual, once I got out the shower, I heard my brother pull out of the driveway. He didn't wait for me. He never did, but this was fine. I would rather walk to school than deal with his obnoxious jokes. At least I had peace during the walk.
Not too far, I kept a decent stride as I paced myself. I didn't want it to seem obvious that I walked to school, so I tried hard not to perspire. Too late!
"Walker!" shot out a voice from a passing vehicle.
I suppose it didn't matter what high-school I went to, walking to school was not the in thing to do. And after several scoffs and derogatory remarks thrown in my direction from some spoiled rich kids driving their parent's vehicles, I was regretting not taking my brother's offer after all.
Scrambling through my school schedule, I was like a lost boy-scout trying to find his way through the forest. Although this school was probably the same size as my old high-school, it was still very different as this gaping labyrinth led me astray, roaming corridor-to-corridor.
"Jake!" I shouted as I crept up closer to my brother.
"Augh—who's the fish, hon?" snarled a squeaky voice.
"Beat it, Jon, I'm busy right now." My brother's gaze never lifted from hers.
"I'm looking for the A building." I tried a final desperate attempt.
"Look!" snapped Jake. "You're a big boy now—figure it out."
Needless to say, I continued to roam the hallways aimlessly until luckily I stumbled across my class by accident. And, of course, I was late again.
"Jonathan—I understand you're still new, but you're going to need to show up to class on time. Starting next week, I'm going to write you up," said the teacher as she continued jotting dictation on the chalkboard.
Grabbing a seat in the back of the class, I buried my face in my book, avoiding any more unwanted attention.
"Pssst!" hissed a voice.
Looking up, I glanced over in the direction of the voice. I knew it couldn't be for me, but I was a little curious.
"I saw one of your graphic novels—You're into Legionz?" said the voice, pausing momentarily before adding, "His supernatural stuff is insane!"
"Ummm, yeah." I shrugged my shoulders for confirmation as I continued under my breath, "I guess ..."
"What was that?"
"Nothing ..."
"Anyways, what are your plans for lunch?"
"Eat—maybe. Why?"
"No reason—Just steer clear from the cafeteria. That's meat-head central!"
"Umm ... thank you—I guess. How do you eat then?" I said with a perplexed grin, causing the furrow on my forehead to slither.
"Come with me. My friends and I hang out by the vending machines."
I didn't respond back, but a simple nod would suffice. Madison High was a new territory for me, and I wanted to avoid bullies like the plague. I would have to take a chance and meet up with him. He looked totally harmless, so I figured I'd be in good company. But he was just as scrawny as I was so if some mindless brutes confronted us, I was pretty sure he wasn't going to come to my aid. Still, I'd rather have company when getting beaten up than no company at all.
At first glance, this small collection of school rejects was no different than any other stereotype from any other teen-flick ever made. There was maybe one female; she was quite possibly the most socially awkward person I met. Then, there was the rest—a bunch of scrawny, awkward teens, trying their best to survive let alone fit in. Fitting in—well, that ship had sailed a while back.
"My name is Bob!"
Our hands shook as we approached his crew.
"Jonathan."
"Jonathan, this is Sabrina, Paul, Duffrey, and Shawn—We're all diehard fans of Legionz!"
It was official—I was a nerd.
I didn't say much after the introduction. I just grabbed a seat and proceeded to eat potato chips, being that oily, thin slices of potatoes and candy bars were apparently the main staple for the rejects. Meanwhile, the athletic pricks running the show beefed up on the cafeteria's well-proportioned meal packs. And, of course, my brother was among the social elites as he inched his way closer and closer to high school stardom.

Puzzle !! Solve and Win Airtime

5 pirates of different ages have a treasure of 100 gold coins.
On their ship, they decide to split the coins using this scheme:
The oldest pirate proposes how to share the coins, and ALL pirates (including the oldest) vote for or against it.
If 50% or more of the pirates vote for it, then the coins will be shared that way. Otherwise, the pirate proposing the scheme will be thrown overboard, and the process is repeated with the pirates that remain.
As pirates tend to be a bloodthirsty bunch, if a pirate would get the same number of coins if he voted for or against a proposal, he will vote against so that the pirate who proposed the plan will be thrown overboard.
Assuming that all 5 pirates are intelligent, rational, greedy, and do not wish to die, (and are rather good at math for pirates) what will happen?

Scam Master: President Buhari’s ‘son’ arrested for defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians

Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have nabbed a professional fraudster who posed as the son of General Muhammadu Buhari to defraud some unsuspecting victims promising to give them mouth watering government contracts.
The FCT SARS in a statement, revealed how the suspect carried out his fraudulent operations before luck finally ran out on him on Saturday, July 4, 2015 following a tip off.
According to Pulse, it was gathered that the suspect was also dropping names of top politicians and businessmen to convince his victims, often wielding superimposed photos of himself with the president and other top politicians.
Part of the statement reads, “He mostly approached big contractors, who were desperate to see the president or any of the governors. He would put fake calls across to the supposed politicians in the presence of his victims and convince them to book appointments.
“From there, he would demand that the politician’s security officials needed to be settled with huge amounts of money before the contractor would be granted audience with the president or the governor.”
It was learnt that the last straw that broke the camel’s back came when the scammer duped a contractor who reported him to the police after he waited for weeks without meeting the president for the supposed contract.
He explained to the officials how he gave the fake president’s son some huge sum of money only for him to realise that he had fallen to the antics of a fraudster.
During investigation, the police officials realized that the suspect was a criminal who has been on their wanted list for similar offences in the past.
Confirming the incident, the FCT force spokesperson, Anjuguri Manzah, said, “The truth is that the suspect had defrauded so many people.
“To perfect his act, he paraded himself as the son of the president. Three Mercedez Benz and one Peugeot 406 cars were recovered from him as exhibits.”

Amazing !! Wiz Kid ft Drake and Septa - Ojuelegba( Remix )Listen to It !!

No one saw this one coming, I bet even Wizzy himself didn’t foresee this one, but we LOVE IT!!!
Well, Drake and Skepta hopped on Wizkid’s HIT single Ojuelegba which first streamed on Drake’s OVO Apple Music Radio Show earlier yesterday.
From our understanding, Skepta played this track for Drake while he was out in the UK for the Wireless festival and Drake decided to lay his verse on it and you can tell that he was really into the track.
Looks like Wizkid is closer to crossing over than many of you thought. Oshey!!!
